It’s been shown that a child’s creative ability develops fastest between the ages of 6-12. Sewing not only provides a creative outlet; it develops motor skills and manual dexterity and gives children a valuable skill that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. But most importantly, it’s fun and it’s relaxing!

On this course your children will learn how to thread a needle, hand stitch and sew on a button.  Once they are confident in hand stitch, they will learn how to cut and pin fabric and then use a sewing machine to create something of their own.
The projects are all fun, simple and creative.  They will also have the opportunity to use their imaginations and create something of their own from start to finish and show it off to you at the end of the course!
