Solidifying Number Skills

A numeracy solidifying level that develops confidence in thinking and communicating mathematical strategies, fine-tunes problem solving skills, emphasizes efficiency and accuracy.  It’s about volume.  The children will work with larger numbers, using commutative and associative properties, explore complex fractions, estimate and measure length, volume, capacity and perimeters.  They will describe the faces, edges and vertices of 3D shapes. 

Why your child will love it.  They will get  a feeling of accomplishment.  It’s hard and abstract to work with negative numbers, but now they begin to feel confident, proud and empowered.
