Making Progress in Maths

This is a numeracy oriented level which focuses on counting and the properties of numbers using a range or resources.  Children learn to gather, handle and organize their information systematically.  Your child will learn to use different strategies in addition and subtraction to 100, reads and writes numbers up to 1000, counts forwards and backwards in 2’s, 3’s, 5’s and 10’s.  they start looking at calendars, clocks, fractions and graphs.

Why your child will love it.  They love fiddling with 3D shapes, fraction discs and manipulating clocks, organising and plotting information using bar graphs, tallies and Venn diagrams…do all the ‘complicated’ things!
